A house clearance company will remove everything you need removing. This includes furniture, large appliances such fridges, cookers, electricals, tools, books, bric-a-brac, clothing, linens and many other general household items, rubbish and waste.
An additional licence is required for asbestos or hazardous waste.

Our house clearance services are completely flexible and customer focussed. We can partially clear a home, support customers who are downsizing, moving a relative into care or need help to make the current living environment a safer and more manageable space.

On average it takes between 3–5 hours to complete a property clearance. The time is takes depends on the access to the property and the weight, volume and type of the items that are to be removed.
At Berkeley House Clearance we can collect and return keys from a solicitor, estate agent, friend or neighbour. After collecting keys we will then view the property, make our assessment and provide a free and no obligation quote for our services. After this, if you happy to proceed we can clear the property in your absence.
The cost of using a house clearance service varies. Some companies charge a flat rate for their services, whilst others prefer to calculate the volume, weight and resale value of the items in the home.
At Berkeley House Clearance we do our best to offset the cost of our services against household items that have a reuse or resale value. This means we can offer a fair price to customers for our services.

Yes. we provide professional valuation services for household items including antiques, curios and collectibles. We can work with solicitors and estate agents as necessary, and are fully versed in applying for the grant of representation (probate).

Berkeley House Clearances is based on the border between Erdington in Birmingham and Wylde Green in Sutton Coldfield. We provide property clearance services in the Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, Solihull, Lichfield and Walsall areas. We are happy to travel to other areas if necessary.
Furniture, bric-a-brac, electricals, appliances, books, clothing, even those old tools in the shed of broken pots the garden. When removed from a home for recycling or disposal all these items become classed as household waste. Anyone you employ to remove household waste needs to be registered with the Environment Agency. If the company or person you employ is not a registered waste carrier, you could be fined.
Monday – Saturday: 8am – 10pm. Sunday: 9am – 10pm.
