A hoarded house clearance is physically demanding and this property clearance was no exception. The volume and weight of items that needed removing from the property meant this clearance was very labour intensive. In addition, this home was damp. Many items had succumbed to mould, therefore we had wear masks and other PPE, which made this job more challenging. An excess amount had to be taken directly to landfill.
We removed all manner of objects from this home. This included paper bills, photo albums, handwritten letters. In addition there were piles of books, magazines, CDs and DVD and many other household items and personal effects.
After a lot of lifting and carrying, a trip to the local charity shop and many visits to the local recycling centre, we finally completed the job. Then we sat down for a well earned rest and a cup of tea!
