The client in this case had recently been committed to full time hospice care due to progressively worsening Alzheimer’s disease. The family had asked for support to remove furniture, and for a general declutter to remove household items and other unneeded items and waste from the home.
House clearance overview:
In spite of her condition and advanced stages, the client was able to keep the house courageously neat. The family had ‘earmarked’ items of furniture and other boxed items as items that were to stay. We were asked to remove all other items from the home, loft and garage areas.
The house included several very nice pieces of antique British Furniture, including a Victorian sideboard, an incredibly heavy solid walnut Armoire, and the usual complement of beds, sofas, dressers, bedside tables and an oak dining room set.

The client was understandably nervous about setting strangers loose in a loved ones house. However after we had completed the job they wer more than satisfied with the work we had done and the support they had received.
